Hello
Hello! My name is Shelby Lindy, and I am a Wraparound Facilitator at Integrated Support & Facilitation. When I am not working, I love spending time with my boyfriend and our two pups! We enjoy going rock-climbing, camping, riding motorcycles, and spending time with friends and family. I love to listen to music, journal, explore new places, and listen to podcasts in my free time! I thrive when I can empower and advocate for others. I am a very understanding and caring person, which allows me to build strong relationships and connections anywhere I go. I love meeting new people and connecting with their stories by using empathy and compassion to build rapport and foster trust.
My Story
I graduated from the University of Southern Indiana in 2023 with a bachelor's degree in Social Work. I began my career as a case manager working with previously homeless families with disabling conditions living in Permanent Supportive Housing. I was drawn to Wraparound because I have a passion for empowering and advocating for others to ensure a person’s voice is heard. I have experience working with high barriers, which have included mental health, substance abuse, domestic violence, criminal backgrounds, and physical and intellectual disabilities. I am currently continuing my education and pursuing my master’s degree in social work as well. I am excited to partner with youth and families to help guide and empower them through the Wraparound process to ensure they are successful.
